Pre-Kindy

Children in pre-Kindy are all about action!

In fact we encourage it but channel their increasing exploration of their world into a slightly more formal approach.

We help the pre-Kindy group grow their literacy and phonics abilities by using what we call ‘interactive mat sessions’. That’s collective activities, based around play and social interaction, to help children develop and improve their social skill set.

Needless to say, unstructured play, inside and outside, is also a highly important part of our development program.

While all this is happening, we’ll also work with them to advance their literacy skills through activities, such as name and number recognition. Nobody ever has time to be bored in pre-Kindy!
